Pattern and Texture
1. For the shot of the baseball I am fairly close to the image. Only about a foot away.
2. My point of view is a little bit above it, but directly straight on at an angle.

4. No the baseball picture does not follow rule of thirds because the baseball which is the main focus, is directly in the middle.
